Actress Meena, who has been in the doldrums for the past few years in Tamil films, got a lucky break recently when she was chosen to play Pasupathy’s lead in Rajni-starrer ‘Kuseylan’. Though she plays the mother of two children in the film, Meena is over the moon as she would be sharing screen space with Rajnikanth, with whom she has acted as heroine in three hit films ‘Muthu’, ‘Veera’ and ‘Yajaman’.
Sometime back, before the ‘Kuselan’ offer came her way, she had committed to do a significant role in the film ‘Adivasiyum Adhiyasa Pesiyum’ which stars Senthil (as an illiterate Tribal man) in the lead. Meena was very much worried that if ‘Adivasiyum..’ released now and she is seen alongside Senthil, that would rob her of the market value, since she is now starring in a ’Rajini’ film.
